Welcome to my site!
EMILY WISSEL
I am currently a PhD candidate and NSF Graduate Research Fellow at Emory University. My dissertation research examines how the gut and vaginal microbiome change during pregnancy and the role of antibiotics in this change. I am interested in the role of our gut microbes in mental health, and I am collaboratively working on projects that examine the gut microbiome's role in cognition. Navigate this site to learn more about me and my research & career interests. I will graduate in Spring 2023 and am on the job market! Reach out if you'd like to discuss job opportunities. I am interest in jobs which will let me work with complex microbiome data and use my multi-disciplinary research training. I am considering academic and non-academic opportunities. |
